Wilhelm Schildmeyer GmbH & Co. KG has existed at its main site in Bad Oeynhausen since 1947. In 1991, the second site was opened in Porta Westfalica.

More than 70 years after its foundation, the company continues to focus on successful expansion and opened Plant III in Bad Oeynhausen at the beginning of 2007. The total number of permanent employees at all four sites is around 150.

Plant I in Bad Oeynhausen-Lohe manufactures machine-finished furniture parts and produces samples, while Plant II in Porta Westfalica is responsible for assembly and packaging.

Plant III is used as a finished goods warehouse and for the assembly and packaging of mirror cabinets.

It is particularly important to us to produce responsibly for the environment and nature. This includes the use of wood-based materials of verifiable origin, which is documented by our FSC® certification (FSC® C123929).

With the courage to innovate and the corresponding expertise, we are constantly creating new furniture in close cooperation with all departments, which impress in terms of design and value for money.

We attach great importance to a personal business relationship with our trading partners from the furniture retail and mail order trade as well as the discounter, hardware store and online sectors and always try to implement individual requests to improve the overall business processes in order to work even more effectively.
